Hello, my name is Dude. I have many nicknames, but my most used is Laa Laa Dude, Dudester, or The Dude. I'm a Yorkshire Terrier, and I am two years old. I am an angel (sometimes), but if I pee on Moms rug—that's when I get a talking to, and I pretend to understand. I can do some tricks like sit, lay and play ball. My biggest fear is the dreaded vacuum cleaner! All my neighbors know me when I go on walks. I bark when I see a squirrel or a bird because they’re the only animals smaller than me, and all the other dogs probably get annoyed, but I’m ok with that. 

When I met my family, I saw a girl with blonde hair who seemed very surprised and so happy to see me. There were a lot of happy tears. By the time I got to the car I was soaked. I really like all the other pets in the neighborhood, but if they bark at me, I get a little scared. I have run away, but only once, because I am such a good boy. One time, I went into the basement to sleep in a basket of clothes, but when I went down the stairs, I remembered I was taught not to do that. My family looked for me and they were really worried. They got back after a few minutes and that’s when my grandma saw me through the little crack of the doorway and heard me whining. I won’t be doing that again!

The thing that I love about our family is getting food from underneath the table, (shh don't tell anyone) and all the hugs, kisses, and snuggles I get from my family. I am one grateful pup.
