Meet Suzanne
Your Neighbor and Real Estate Expert

If you’re strolling through East Highlands, keep an eye out for Suzanne and her black-and-white golden doodle, Molly.
Suzanne lives on Loomis with her husband and five children and is always happy to stop for a chat—she loves connecting with neighbors as much as she loves helping them find their perfect home.
Originally from England, Suzanne is a Cambridge graduate with a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in epidemiology and biostatistics. After a 20-year career in nursing and clinical trials, she decided to shift gears when raising her family, seeking a profession that allowed her to continue helping people while having the flexibility to be present for her children.
Her path led her to real estate, and after several years as a solo agent, Suzanne recently joined The Alice Chin Team, one of Naperville’s top real estate groups. This team structure allows Suzanne to focus directly on her clients while the team provides a seamless behind-the-scenes experience, bringing 85+ years of combined expertise to every transaction.
Represented by Compass Real Estate, they leverage cutting-edge technology, tools like Compass Concierge, and their 3-Phased Marketing Strategy to give clients a distinct advantage. You can visit Suzanne and the team at their office on Jefferson Avenue in Downtown Naperville.
When it comes to the local market, Suzanne shares insights that only a seasoned professional could provide:
- Naperville is still a strong seller’s market with about 1.5 months’ supply of homes. While other parts of the country are moving toward a buyer’s market, Naperville continues to see high demand. Seasonal slowdowns occur in winter, but activity usually picks back up mid-February.
 - Interest rates affect buying power. Many buyers locked in ultra-low rates in 2020–21, so today’s rates feel high by comparison. Rates influence the percentage of cash buyers and the overall competitiveness of the market.
 - Curb appeal matters. Simple upgrades—fresh landscaping, power washing, neutral paint, fixing minor repairs, or even staging a few rooms—can make a huge difference. Mudrooms and functional spaces are highly valued by families.
 - Buying strategies require skill and guidance. First-time buyers may face challenges, and crafting a strong offer involves more than price—it’s about timing, communication, and knowing which tools to deploy.

Suzanne’s passion goes beyond transactions. “I love welcoming new families to East Highlands,” she says. “Being part of their journey, seeing them make connections, and getting to know what’s important to them—it’s incredibly rewarding. I’ve helped several families move into our neighborhood, and I’m proud to call many of them my friends.”
She also highlights what makes East Highlands special: diverse home styles, mature trees, a friendly social environment with kids everywhere, and proximity to Downtown Naperville, the Riverwalk, Burr Oak Park, and excellent schools.
For those curious about broker commissions or the recent NAR lawsuit, Suzanne is happy to provide clarity. “Not too much has changed in reality,” she explains. “A full-service agent or team ensures you maximize your return and makes the process as smooth as possible. In real estate, you truly get what you pay for.”
Whether you’re buying, selling, or just looking for neighborhood insights, Suzanne is the go-to expert—and a neighbor you’ll want to know.
