It’s not often that a company makes you compelled to share a positive review. More often than not, it’s the rants that are most vocal. However, J. Molnar has been one of those companies that have been clutch for our household. Whether it’s my desperate call when something goes awry with one of our three AC units during the hottest day or trying to determine a solution to make our house just a little more comfortable, J. Molnar’s team has gone above and beyond. One simple example is a recent time when we called in a panic on a weekend that our AC was out, only to find out that my 6-year-old was playing in the back closet and turned off the AC switch. Even after discovering it and calling back to cancel, they stopped by on a house call to make sure we were all good without charging for the visit. Recently, we had thought a ceiling leak issue was a result of an AC drain line above our kitchen. The technician responded immediately, discovering that it was not an AC issue but an actual unknown roof leak nagging us over a few years undiscovered. Even after completing his review, without even a slight reservation, he crawled back into a hot, tight attic with my phone camera and documented all the trouble spots so that I could help us know what needed to be done. This kind of service and care in what they do not only continues to build our trust but cements J. Molnar as one of our valued and favorite service companies to recommend without hesitation. J. Molnar Heating & Cooling Inc., owned by Jamie Molnar and his wife, Leeona, has stood the test of time. Fourteen years ago, Jamie opened his HVAC business, much to the delight of the local community.
“We have grown and been a five-star rating success since [we opened],” says Jamie. He has 30 years of HVAC experience. J. Molnar Heating & Cooling Inc. is proud to be a family-owned and operated business.
“My wife, Leeona, recently retired from her 29-year career to join our family business,” says Jamie. “My son, Brinton, joined the business in 2014 while going to college. He received a bachelor’s in business administration and we promoted him to manager.”
J. Molnar Heating & Cooling Inc. serves all of Lakeland and the surrounding area for their heating and cooling needs. Jamie explains, “Our entire team is committed to delivering quality service, and we aim to exceed our client's expectations. Our commitment and dedication to our customers remain a priority.” The most important quality that Jamie requires to be a part of his team is honesty.
From Dream to Reality
“I received my HVAC certification and worked for several HVAC companies as a young adult, starting as a helper and moving my way up,” says Jamie. Opening his own business was a dream come true.
Prior to opening his own business, Jamie worked at Publix, where he worked for 14 years before blazing his own trail. The experience was invaluable for him.
“Maintaining the HVAC and refrigeration systems for their corporate buildings gave me an abundance of experience and knowledge. I decided to become a State Licensed HVAC contractor and open my own business to help my community. Publix made me who I am today and has given me the skills needed to be a successful business owner, and I will forever be thankful for that,” says Jamie.

Jamie’s Background
Jamie grew up in Ohio before moving to Lakeland in 1984 as a young child. Lakeland has become his forever home. In his free time, he likes spending time with his family.
“I am happily married to a beautiful woman. I have a very spoiled French bulldog named Bella,” says Jamie. They have three sons, one daughter and three grandsons.
When not working, Jamie enjoys family time, boating, grilling, watching football and doing yard work. “Everyone knows me for having a beautiful and meticulous lawn,” he adds.
Jamie is an inspiration, pursuing his dreams and making them a reality. This successful entrepreneur is helping countless clients here in the Lakeland area and beyond!
