Linda and James Ewing on Del Rio Drive completed the relandscaping of their front yard in the spring of 2022. A mosaic that Linda created in 2008 was the inspiration for the courtyard project. Trevor Grubaugh of Mather Steel designed a structure to hold and display the mosaic and provide a trellis for plants. Monica Perrone, Professional Landscape Architect, worked with Linda and James to develop a plan for the yard that suited them. The primary plantings are Japanese maple, aralia, juniper, mat rush, dwarf olive, pittosporum, and star jasmine. In addition, a large cement pot was fabricated by Flying Turtle Concrete to provide another feature in the yard.
Dylan Hendrix, General Landscape Contractor of Hendrix Landscape Services, completed the installation. All those involved made a great team to achieve the Ewing’s dream of an entry sanctuary!
