Here's Why

Highlighting the vibrant STROLL events. Let's delve deeper to forge meaningful connections.

Sean and Sheila Dobbins

In September, STROLL Del Rio had a neighborhood event at the Redwood Café in the Modern Gardens. Residents came to connect and catch up. It was a great evening with perfect weather. There were cocktails and snacks. People poured in to listen to live music.
There was a great crowd with many new faces. It was an excellent way to spend a few hours with friends and to make new acquaintances.

“Turning Neighborhoods into Communities” –STROLL Magazine

The STROLL team loves to look for places and times to provide play opportunities. The idea that the quality of life in a community depends on its people being connected is a core belief. We can all have wonderful friendships with our neighbors, but life is a brutal taskmaster, so time for investment is at a minimum. The STROLL events are the small windows of opportunity to widen our community and to build relationships with neighbors who live in the same community but haven’t met before. When space is created, great friendships and business networks have a way of showing up organically, building a strong bond of community relations, and curating businesses that work. An innocuous day or evening event can reveal a potential for something that takes shape. Beyond that is the genuine potential for laughter and just enjoying the moment. It is motivation enough for us. Thank you, we appreciate you coming!

We love to plan for you and your neighbors to get together. If you have a suggestion for something or somewhere you’d like to see as a setting for a neighborhood event, please get in touch with us; we would love to hear it. Bring a neighbor and see you at the next Del Rio neighborhood event.
