Q: Please share with us a little about your background!
A: When I was a kid, I loved working with my hands, and I was always drawn to science classes. This led me to dentistry. I received my bachelor’s degree from Augusta University in Augusta, GA, in cell and molecular biology, and then I attended dental school in Augusta at The Dental College of Georgia. I also stayed there for my pediatric dentistry residency.
Q: What do you enjoy most about pediatric dentistry?
A: The most enjoyable part about being a pediatric dentist is connecting with my patients and watching them grow up with each visit to the office.
Q: When you’re not in the office, what do you like to do for fun?
A: When I’m not in the office, I enjoy playing soccer, walking, cooking, and traveling. My husband, Brad, who was my dental school sweetheart, and I have nine nieces and nephews, so we love spending time with them whenever we can. We also have a fluffy cat named Oliver who always keeps us entertained!
