Hello, Coldstream neighbors!

I'm Erica Schulz Hansen, the feature photographer for Stroll Coldstream, and I thought it would be fun to give you a behind-the-scenes look at what happens when you're selected as one of our featured families.

A little about me first—I’ve called Anderson home for more than 17 years, where my husband and I are raising our three children. I've been a professional photographer for over 12 years, working with a local family-owned photography studio while also photographing families, seniors, weddings, and special events throughout the Cincinnati area.

One of my favorite parts of being the Stroll photographer is getting to meet the wonderful families who make our neighborhood such a special place.

It All Starts with a Conversation

Once you've agreed to be featured, Marci Loehner, our publisher, will introduce us. From there, we'll find a date, time, and location that works best for your family. I have a flexible schedule with weekday, evening, and weekend availability to make the process as easy as possible.

Most families choose to have their session at home, but you're welcome to choose another meaningful location, whether it's a favorite park, the country club, or another beautiful spot around Anderson Township.

A Relaxed, Fun Experience

Your photo session typically lasts about 20 to 30 minutes. My goal is to create natural, genuine photographs—not stiff poses.

I'll guide you through family groupings while encouraging plenty of interaction, laughter, and movement. If your family enjoys golfing together, playing tennis, boating, cooking, or another favorite hobby, let me know! I love incorporating activities that tell your family's unique story.

And one very important request...

As a dog lover, I'm always excited when furry family members join the session. Whether they're calm, energetic, or a little mischievous, they often become some of everyone's favorite photos.

After Your Session

Within about a week, I'll send you a private online gallery featuring your best images. You'll have the opportunity to choose your favorite photographs for publication, and as a thank-you for participating, you'll receive three complimentary high-resolution digital downloads to keep and enjoy.

If you'd like additional images, they are also available for purchase.
