May is here, and I want to take a moment to wish all of the wonderful moms in our community a very Happy Mother’s Day!

As a mom myself, I often catch myself wishing my kids could stay little forever—but at the same time, watching my three grow into who they are today in ways I never could have imagined makes all the worry, the late nights, and the countless miles to games more than worth it.

I’ll also say this—my children have been such a huge motivation behind me taking on this magazine. They help more than you’d probably expect behind the scenes, and their support throughout this journey has truly meant everything to me. It’s made me realize that if I’ve done anything right in my life, it’s how I’ve raised them.

I truly feel so lucky to be surrounded by such an incredible community. This magazine exists because of you—your stories, your families, your businesses, and the connections we continue to build together month after month.

One of the things that makes this publication so special is that it’s created for our neighborhood and by our neighborhood. The majority of what you see in these pages comes directly from you—your stories, your photos, your recipes, your milestones. I’ve heard it called “Facebook in print,” and honestly, that’s exactly what it is.
