Meg and Mike share deep Cohasset roots—Meg spent summers on her family’s boat in Cohasset Harbor and at Bassings Beach, thanks to her parents, who both grew up in town. The couple moved into an apartment in Cohasset in 2023 and later purchased a home in 2026. Meg, a third-grade teacher at Deer Hill School, and Mike met while studying abroad in Birmingham, England, despite both attending Endicott College. Their love of travel began there, exploring six countries together, a passion they still share today. Mike proposed on a sunny June evening outside the Cohasset Sailing Club at their favorite spot, Bassings Beach, with family and friends celebrating afterward at Meg’s parents’ house. Their celebrations included a bachelor weekend in Las Vegas, a coastal bachelorette in Newport, RI, and a rehearsal dinner at the Cohasset Lightkeepers overlooking the harbor. The couple married on July 19, 2025, at Meg’s grandparents’ church, Second Congregational Church, on Cohasset Common, with a reception at the Red Lion Inn filled with dancing and joy. For their honeymoon, they enjoyed a week in Kauai, Hawaii, followed by a weeklong Alaskan cruise with friends and family—two unforgettable weeks to start married life.
