Since 1975, Iona has been a trusted provider of essential services for older adults, caregivers, and community members in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. Iona’s mission is to support people as they experience the challenges and opportunities of aging. 

This important organization educates, advocates, and provides community-based services to help people age well and live well. Iona envisions a community that celebrates, values, respects, and protects the contributions and possibilities of every individual.

Thanks to donors and grants, most of Iona’s services are free to its members.  We wanted to be part of this great cause, so on Thursday, October 19th, Stroll Cleveland Park teamed up with Stroll Spring Valley, Stroll Palisades Kent, Stroll Chevy Chase Village and Stroll Avenel to put on a successful rooftop fundraising cocktail party!

Crescendo at City Ridge kindly donated their beautiful penthouse event space with stunning views of the National Cathedral and warming fire pits for people to gather around, Spring Valley Catering of Wagshal’s provided delicious heavy hors d’oeuvres, and Ace Beverage and Bunnyman Brewing supplied the libations. 

Thanks to the attendees of this event, we raised over $4,500!
