The spirit of celebration was alive and well this summer at The Barclay at Clemson Assisted Living & Memory Care as residents, families, and guests gathered for two memorable events that highlighted the warmth and sense of community that make our home so special.

One of the season's most anticipated gatherings was our Luau Signature Event. The community was transformed into a tropical paradise filled with vibrant island-inspired décor, delicious flavors, refreshing signature beverages, and plenty of opportunities for fellowship and fun. Guests enjoyed an atmosphere designed to transport them straight to the islands while creating meaningful memories with friends and loved ones.

The event was a tremendous success thanks to the support of so many wonderful partners and guests. We extend a special thank-you to VIA Hospice for providing the ice cream truck, which quickly became a favorite attraction of the day. The sweet treats brought smiles to faces throughout the community and added an extra touch of fun to an already unforgettable celebration.

We also had the pleasure of honoring the fathers and father figures in our community during our special Donuts for Dads celebration. Residents and guests gathered to enjoy fresh coffee, delicious donuts, and wonderful conversation while recognizing the men who have shared their love, wisdom, guidance, and life experiences with those around them.

Father's Day offered an opportunity to reflect on the important roles fathers and father figures play in our lives. Stories were shared, memories were revisited, and meaningful connections were strengthened as residents celebrated together. The event served as a beautiful reminder of the lasting impact that family, friendship, and community have on our daily lives.
