Raising Ramslands

At the Ramsland home, there is always a flurry of activity, and for Lindy and Jeremy Ramsland, their three energetic boys, and two rescue dogs, this beautiful chaos is exactly where they thrive. "We've got a lot of energy in our house, and we're constantly moving," Lindy says. "But we're intentional about it. We find joy in the chaos, and we genuinely love doing life together."
Unlike many Chandler families who have relocated from elsewhere, Lindy and Jeremy are Arizona natives. Their love story is uniquely intertwined. They first met in college but were later set up through work by Lindy's now brother-in-law. "Two of Jeremy's sisters married the guys who helped set us up, and I had gone to school with them," Lindy shares. "Clearly it was meant to be!"
The couple's three boys each have a distinct personality. Beckham, their five-year-old, brings enthusiasm to everything from gardening to cooking. He's currently fascinated by science and proudly announces he wants to be either a volcanologist or botanist, depending on the day. Three-year-old Callum embodies the spirited middle-child energy—athletics, puzzle-solving, and storytelling are his specialties. Meanwhile, one-year-old William provides what Lindy describes as the peaceful balance to the chaos, with his sweet temperament and infectious smile. Completing the family are two rescue dogs, Brooklyn and Remi, who are right in the middle of the action at all times.
Both Jeremy and Lindy are entrepreneurs with deep ties to the local community. Jeremy runs Velocity National Provider Network, a PPO Network headquartered in nearby Ahwatukee, while Lindy co-owns Pure Balance Pilates. The Ramslands' appreciation for Chandler runs deep. "It's a great place to raise a family," Jeremy says. "We love the local spots, the people, and the sense of community here. It has a great balance of young families, new residents, and everything you could possibly need being at most a 15-minute drive away." Their local haunts include Floridino's for pizza muffins, Snowtime for treats, Espo's for Mexican food, and Paletas Betty for dessert. Lindy's personal favorite is Raw Organic Juice Bar.
The couple stays connected to their community in numerous ways. Lindy hosts events through Pure Balance Pilates, including an annual Pilates egg hunt, Pilates Bingo, and seasonal gatherings. Family members are involved with nonprofit organizations including Zoe Hope Global and Heartfire Missions, and the family regularly attends Sun Valley Community Church in Tempe, which is relocating to Chandler this year.
When asked about their favorite family activities, gardening and cooking are first on the list. They all get into it—whether that means planting vegetables or making an epic mess in the kitchen—and most importantly, it is how they slow down and connect. The family's recently renovated home features a backyard that serves as the heart of their daily life. "It's where the boys play, where we garden, where we talk and unwind. It's where everything happens," Jeremy explains. Their weekly rhythm includes sports practices, gymnastics at Aspire Kids, and a cherished Friday night tradition. "Movie nights are a whole thing," Lindy says. "The boys have blow-up Hot Wheels beds, we make popcorn, and pile into the living room together. It's chaotic, hilarious, and the highlight of our week." In their energetic approach to family life, the Ramslands have found their perfect balance.
