Ruby’s personality simply stated is gentle, sweet and loving. She loves everyone, human or canine, wants to play, and become your friend forever!

I was walking Ruby and I dropped her retractable lease. The noise scared her and she took off running. I couldn’t keep up with her and figured she ran to the golf course. I searched the neighborhood, calling her, but could not find her. So, I went home to get my husband to help look for her. When I got home, she was sitting at the back door waiting to go in and clearly waiting for me!

Ruby runs the household and her schedule dictates our day! She’s awakens around 6 a.m. and heads outside. She has breakfast then her morning walk. She typically gets two more walks during the day, dinner and a round of fetch! Weather permitting, she rides with us in the golf cart running errands or just cruising around the neighborhood! A couple of naps rounds out her day and bedtime is around 8p.m.!

Ruby has the uncanny ability to know if you are not feeling well. She will not leave your side and check on you periodically. Call it intuition or her unwavering devotion!  I’ve owned dogs all my life but I swear, Ruby is part human.

Ruby’s favorite thing is to ride in the golf cart to Starbucks and get a pup cup!
