Meet the Dennis Family
In the heart of Sandestin, Holly and Edward found their forever home in the community of Burnt Pine.
The Journey
While attending The University of Alabama, Edward and Holly met through a mutual friend. They married in 2016 and had their first child a short time later. Their home is now filled with three energetic little girls: Rowen – 4 years old, Collins – 2 years old, and Monroe – 10 months old. They also have a Poodle named Rory. Family adventures include swimming, golf cart rides, and movie nights. During football and basketball seasons, the family enjoys watching The University of Alabama. If you hang around long enough, you may find yourself yelling ROLL TIDE! On the weekends, they enjoy having cookouts with family and friends.
A Home Rooted in Tradition
Having grown up in Peachtree City, GA, where there are more than 90 miles of golf cart paths; Edward knew the type of area he wanted to raise his family. Much like his hometown, Edward found Sandestin to have the same southern charm and picturesque views he loved growing up. With multiple golf courses, parks, amenities and countless restaurants within reach, Sandestin seemed like the perfect place to put down roots.
Family Dynamics With A Twist
Edward and Holly moved to Miramar Beach from Miami in October of 2022. While looking for their forever home, Edward and Holly lived with his parents in the Sandestin community of Island Green. At the time, Edward’s sister Maggie and brother-in-law Sean also lived at the home. In addition to them were Rowen, Collins, Rory and Lincoln (Sean’s German Shepherd). A few months later in January 2023, Edward and Holly welcomed the birth of their third daughter, Monroe Olivia. In that same month, Maggie and Sean welcomed their first child, Charles. With so many under one roof, six adults, four toddlers and two dogs to be exact, one would expect chaos. But while there was certainly never a dull moment, their family embraced this time to make new memories and create new traditions for future generations.
The Dennis family’s journey is full of love, laughter and togetherness. It is a testament to the enduring power of family bonds. As they continue to navigate life’s twists and turns, they will continue making memories in Sandestin with their family and friends.
