Highland Village hosted our Eastover and Bridgewater neighbors at Sur La Table!

Resident Lucia McCoy learning new knife skills!

Residents from Bridgewater and Eastover gathered at Highland Village for a special Stroll Neighbor’s Night Out hosted by Sur La Table. Guests enjoyed a hands-on knife skills demonstration led by resident chef Sid Scott, followed by a relaxed evening of conversation and light bites.
Charcuterie was served alongside bubbles and espresso martinis provided by Char, offering a tasteful pairing to the evening’s culinary theme. A door prize featuring Highland Village Jingle Coins, a Warby Parker gift card, and a complimentary Sur La Table cooking class added to the excitement.

Sur La Table opened its doors at Highland Village in March 2024, marking the brand’s first and only location in Mississippi. The shop offers a curated selection of cookware, kitchen tools, and culinary essentials, along with a full calendar of hands-on cooking classes. From pasta-making and macaron workshops to themed date nights and kids’ camps during school breaks, it’s quickly become a destination for home cooks and aspiring chefs alike. Private event bookings and group classes are also available. Guests who book in-store receive $10 off their class registration.

Several of our Stroll advertising partners joined us for the event too! The evening was a celebration of good food, good neighbors, and great community—hallmarks of life at Highland Village.

Thanks to our Stroll partner Highland Village for organizing this fun event with Sur La Table and Char.
