Tom and Catherine Quaka of Green Glades have been married for 57 years and are happily retired in Bridgewater! Tom retired after 52 years in the insurance industry and is now a partner in Southern Insurance Consulting. Catherine worked part-time at the Everyday Gardener. They have three adult children - John Quaka, Mary Tison Brown (Jay), and Katie Deweese (Clay) and eight grandchildren - Mason (25), Benjamin (23), and Anna Fleming (21) Quaka; Gibson (20), Andy (18), Owen (15) Brown; and Rhett (13) and Tison (11) Deweese. Tom and Catherine also have two fur babies, Chewy, a terrier mix, and Henry, a golden retriever. 

As a couple, Tom and Catherine enjoy driving around in their classic car, walking their dogs, and attending their grandchildren's sporting events. Their favorite sports teams are the Jackson Prep Patriots, the Oxford Chargers, and the Ole Miss Rebels! 

In the greater community, Tom is a member of St. Richard's Catholic Church and is President of the Homeowner's Association of Bridgewater at Old Agency. You have likely seen Tom dressed in character for the annual Bridgewater Easter Egg Hunt and the Halloween Parade! Catherine is a member of First Presbyterian Church, Ralph Humphreys DAR, the Bridgewater Garden Club, and the Melange Luncheon Club.
