Dryer Vent Wizard Helps Prevent House Fires

Keeping Your Dryer Safe and Efficient

Dana and Michael Rusnak, owners of Dryer Vent Wizard Asheville, are dryer vent line system experts who spend 100 percent of their time knowing building codes and the best, most efficient ways to keep homeowners safe.
Dryer Vent Wizard will:

  • Do a safety inspection of the entire system in your home, to help prevent fires.
  • Clean the line to make the dryer efficient and safe.
  • Service your machine and ducts.
  • Reclaim time lost running a second cycle.
Obstructed dryer vents are the source of thousands of house fires every year. People often ignore or don’t recognize the signs of a clogged dryer vent and this seemingly small oversight can have disastrous results.

3 Things to Know
1. What would you like Biltmore Park residents to know about Dryer Vent Wizard?
We are a local business that prides itself with professionalism (check our reviews), our exceptional knowledge of dryer vent systems, and this is the only thing we do. This is not a side business for an HVAC company, or a handy man with a leaf blower.

2. What is the value of an inspection?
One of the services that separates Dryer Vent Wizard Asheville from its competitors is our proprietary 10-point inspection; a thorough examination of your dryer from the dryer itself, the transition to the wall, and everything in between including the vent cover on the outside of the house. This way we can recommend the best service in addition to a yearly vent cleaning. Often, we see dusty dryer room (indicated dryer might need de-linting), a crimped transition (needs replaced with our heat resistant Wizardflex piping), broken or line to the outside that's not to code (requires a new installation), or a vent cover that's broken, open or not even there (needs replaced).

3. If you are in need of a dryer vent repair, can you receive service right away?
With older homes we see a variety of vent line issues that are potential fire hazards. Long and plastic tubing (an extreme fire hazard), broken or pipe joint breaks, lines greater than 30 feet (not to code), too many 90-degree joints, lines made of plastics and excessive moisture in the system. Sometimes we see venting right into attics and crawl spaces. At Dryer Vent Wizard, we are always prepared to do an installation during our visit.
