Larry Pulliam's Stunning Home & Renovation

316 S. Braeside Court

With its 9,522 square feet of French chateau charm, Larry Pulliam’s home at the pinnacle of Biltmore Park is reminiscent of The Biltmore Estate. Larry led a meticulous interior renovation and upgrade of his home, transforming the once Old World style to modern elegance filled with light and open space. “I poured my heart and soul into this home,” Larry says.

After living in his exquisite home with his son and daughter, he’s about to become an empty nester. Son Parker attends UNC Wilmington and daughter Ava plans to attend Clemson University in the fall.

Larry’s home sits on property that spans 2.51 acres in Biltmore Park with a bird’s-eye view of Lake Julian. A grand foyer features an elegant spiral staircase, a floor-to-ceiling fireplace and a wall of windows that looks out over a refinished saltwater pool with a fountain, hot tub, pool cabana and covered porch. The owner’s wing on the main level features black walnut hardwood floors, a cozy parlor with a marble fireplace and a masterpiece of a primary bath. The house has five en suite bedrooms. Larry’s favorite room is a sitting room and workspace that overlooks the pool. The home, which includes a five-car garage, was built in 2000 and has 5,300 square feet in the basement full of potential with a build-out for a lap pool, a space intended for a theater room and plenty of space to install a home gym.
