Many families in Western North Carolina have grown up with Great Smiles. What began more than 42 years ago as a pediatric dental practice has grown into a locally owned, family-centered dental group offering pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and adult care, all rooted in one simple philosophy: treat families like family. From the moment a child walks in (often met with balloons, aquariums, and friendly faces) to the confidence of teens heading to orthodontic appointments on their own, Great Smiles works intentionally to create positive, lasting experiences around dental care.

Locally owned and operated by Dr. Bill Chambers, Dr. Doug Pratt, Dr. Stephen Chadwick, and Biltmore Park neighbors — Dr. Stephanie Chambers and Dr. Paul Blackman — Great Smiles remains deeply local and proudly family-run. Multiple generations of the Chambers family work side-by-side in the practice, and today Great Smiles serves second, third, and even fourth-generation patients,  something that speaks volumes about trust, relationships, and continuity of care.
