When Victoria Morgan Stanley welcomed Judge into their family in January, they knew they were bringing home more than a puppy. After a long search for the perfect German Shepherd, they found a loyal companion who has quickly become a beloved member of the family.

Now six months old, Judge takes his job very seriously. Whether he's faithfully following his mom from room to room or keeping a watchful eye on his human brother and sisters, he's always looking out for the people he loves. Fortunately, when he's off duty, Judge transforms into what his family affectionately describes as the sweetest, goofiest ball of mush.

Judge arrived just in time for January's snowstorm, making house training an adventure from the very beginning. Thankfully, he quickly discovered that he loves the snow and just about every kind of weather. Whether he's exploring the backyard or heading out on an adventure, Judge is happiest when he's outside.

Nothing gets his tail wagging faster than a game of fetch with his favorite Chuckit! ball, and a Bully Stick is always the perfect reward after a day of play.

At home, Judge enjoys supervising the family's pet chickens and keeping a close eye on the neighborhood wildlife. He's especially hopeful that the deer wandering through the yard might one day stop and play, although squirrels remain his favorite animals to chase.

When the Stanley family heads out, Judge is a familiar face at Tractor Supply, where he's become well known and loved by the staff. If he could choose the perfect family outing, it would be a trip to the mountains for a long hike followed by a refreshing swim in a cool mountain stream. That fits the Stanley family perfectly, as lifelong Bermuda Run area residents, they enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it's walking through Tanglewood Park or escaping to the mountains.

With his loyal heart, playful personality, and protective nature, Judge has already made a lasting impression on everyone he meets. It's safe to say the Stanley family found exactly what they were looking for, and Judge found the perfect place to call home.
