Stars, Stripes & Sweet Success!

The Kinderton Village Art Club recently celebrated our nation's 250th birthday in delicious style with a patriotic cookie decorating contest that showcased the creativity and talent of our residents.
Contest judges Charlene Genaway, Willisia Holbrook, and Linda Mason faced the difficult task of selecting winners from an impressive array of beautiful, edible works of art. The competition was fierce, with participants creating cookies inspired by America's heritage, symbols, and spirit.
Taking First Place was Shelley Hundley for her stunning patriotic butterfly. Second Place honors went to Sara de la Cruzfor her beautifully decorated American flag cookie, while Meghan Timbinaris earned Third Place with her striking American eagle design.
More important than the awards, however, was the fun and fellowship shared by everyone who participated. The event was a wonderful reminder that creativity, community, and a little frosting can make for a memorable celebration!
The Kinderton Village Art Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and warmly welcomes all Kinderton Village residents who would like to join in the fun. Whether you're an experienced artist or simply looking to explore your creative side, there's always a place for you at the Art Club
