The First Annual Bermuda Run Fall Festival and Dog Stroll - Proceeds benefited the Humane Society of Davie County - Gratitude, Giving, and Golden Sunshine
October brought one of the happiest days our town has seen in a long time. The first annual Bermuda Run Fall Festival and Dog Stroll filled the Town Square with sunshine, smiles, and wagging tails as families, neighbors, and local businesses came together for a day of fun, community, and giving.
The weather could not have been more perfect. Families strolled, children laughed, and dogs of every size proudly showed off their best Halloween costumes, from superheroes to pumpkins and everything in between. Desilu Pet Portraits beautifully captured those picture-perfect moments, while local vendors lined the square with handmade treasures, delicious bites, and creative goodies for both people and pups. It was a day that truly captured the heart of small-town living.
Beyond the laughter and music, the event had a purpose that mattered deeply. Proceeds benefited the Humane Society of Davie County, whose tireless mission to rescue, care for, and rehome animals touches lives across our community. Thanks to the wonderful turnout and generosity of our residents, this day was not just a celebration, it was an act of kindness that will continue to make a difference.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the Town of Bermuda Run for their kindness, enthusiasm, and support in making this event possible. Their teamwork and hospitality helped create a seamless and welcoming experience for all.
As we move into November, the month of giving, this event serves as a reminder that generosity is not only about what we give but how we give. It is showing up, lending a hand, and celebrating together as neighbors.
The Bermuda Run Fall Festival and Dog Stroll was more than just a wonderful day, it was the beginning of a beautiful tradition that we cannot wait to recreate next year. Thank you, Bermuda Run, for showing what it means to give with open hearts, joyful spirits, and plenty of puppy kisses.
