Merry Christmas, Bermuda Run!

As I look through this December issue, I cannot help but feel incredibly grateful for the people who make this community so special. Each story, photo, and feature in these pages reminds me that Bermuda Run is more than a neighborhood, it is a family.
Our cover story on the McCuiston family captures that spirit perfectly. Brian and Barbara’s warmth, their love for travel, and their music have added so much color to life on Riverbend Drive. Their story, like so many others this year, is a reminder that friendship and connection are at the heart of what makes Bermuda Run shine.
This issue is full of those same threads of generosity and joy. From Peggy Isenhour’s delicious Cherry Delight to the Davie Women’s Auxiliary marking their first anniversary of service, it is clear that kindness runs deep here. You will also meet passionate gardeners, dedicated volunteers, and young writers like Jenna Harding, whose enthusiasm for the season is contagious.
I am inspired by the stories of local women building community, whether it is Michelle Jones and Phoebe Parker bringing people together over Mahjong tiles, or the Mocksville Woman’s Club continuing their beautiful legacy of giving. These are the connections that make our town feel like home.
And before we wrap up 2025, I would like to give a warm welcome to several new partners joining our Stroll Bermuda Run family, Melissa with It’s Your Time to Travel, the Mattress Warehouse team in Clemmons, Fellowship Property Services, Finley with W. Simmons Construction, and Big Anchor Roofing and Gutters. We are so excited to have you on board and cannot wait for our readers to get to know your businesses in the months ahead.
As we close out another year, I hope you will take a moment to celebrate the simple joys: good neighbors, warm gatherings, and the spirit of giving that makes this season so meaningful.
From my family to yours,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Warmly,
Stephanie Wilson Hearn
