Hi! My name is Sadie Mae Eggenspiller. I just turned ten in July, and I am a chocolate

lab.

 

My family adopted me in Columbus, Ohio when I was just a few months old.

Thankfully they were looking to add a furry friend. When I joined the crew my sister

Paisley was three, and brother Henry was just a few months old. It was hectic, but

awesome as we all grew up. We have lived in Belterra for just over a year and I have

enjoyed all the new smells, friendly faces and my new doggy door.

 

If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I love treats! I can smell the

peanut butter jar from across the room and hear a bag open from a dead sleep. I get

super excited when I know a treat is coming.

 

Some days, I just sit by the window and watch.  I see squirrels, birds, and sometimes

other dogs walking. When I’m not looking for treats, I’m probably sleeping. Napping is

one of my favorite things. I nap in the sun, on the ottoman, or on the chilly tile. I snore a

lot, but I don’t mind. I dream about fun things like swimming in the lake or playing

outside.

 

I am one spoiled pup, or as my mom says, well loved. One of my favorite

memories is riding in the car to get ice cream on my birthdays or going to the beach and

running free on the sand.

 

Now that I’m older, I don’t run as fast as I used to, but I still like going on walks and

being with my family. I wag my tail all the time and love getting belly rubs and hugs. I

always like to stay near the people I love.

 

If you see me around the neighborhood on a walk, I usually like to meet new friends, so

feel free to say hi. If you knock on our door, I will sound very crazy, but I’m really just excited you are visiting!
