My name is Michele Daulton, and I’m proud to call Belterra home. I grew up in the Philippines and met my husband, Jason (a native of Houston), while living in Singapore. In 2016, we moved to Texas from Southeast Asia to be closer to his parents, bringing with us a love for travel and culture after living in both Malaysia and Singapore. We’ve since settled into life here with our two wonderful kids — Kaden, now a junior at Texas A&M, and Kaitlyn, a 6th grader at Sycamore Springs Middle School.

We’ve now lived in Belterra for nine years, and it truly feels like home. As a family, we love going on vacations, enjoying home-cooked meals, and trying out local restaurants. When we’re not busy with work and school, we’re most likely spending quality time together — whether it's relaxing at home or a family movie night. Before I ventured into the beauty industry, I spent time as an oil and acrylic artist, something I still enjoy today when I have a quiet moment, and I also love home improvement and DIY projects.

Professionally, I come from a background in Computer Science and have spent many years working in corporate. But deep down, I’ve always had a passion for all things beauty. That passion led me to take a leap of faith in early 2018 when I launched Bombchele Lashes, my own lash studio. It wasn’t an easy start. At that time, I didn’t know many people in the area aside from a couple of moms, and we didn’t have any family nearby. But I was lucky enough to have a friend in the beauty industry who encouraged me to take the plunge — and I haven’t looked back since.

What sets Bombchele Lashes apart is our commitment to personalized, professional service. Unlike many lash studios, all our artists are licensed professionals. We focus on high-quality, safe application techniques, and we work closely with each client to deliver a look that suits their unique style and lifestyle. Our appointments feel more like a self-care ritual than a routine beauty treatment. Many of our clients are hardworking moms and busy professionals who appreciate the time-saving benefits of lash extensions — and they also love the spa-like, relaxing environment we’ve created. Whether they want a peaceful beauty nap or a mini therapy session, we’re here for it.

Today, I’m proud to have two other talented lash artists working alongside me. As our business has grown, so has my desire to give back to the beauty community. With seven years of experience under my belt, I’ve stepped into the role of Lash Educator, mentoring aspiring lash artists and helping them grow their own businesses. It’s also important to me to dispel some of the myths in the industry — especially the misconception that lash extensions damage natural lashes. When applied correctly by a trained professional using safe products and techniques, lash extensions are very safe.

One of the best parts of this journey has been hearing how our work impacts our clients. From saving them precious time in the mornings to boosting their confidence, the feedback we receive is heartwarming. I once had a client tell me that getting her lashes done at Bombchele Lashes, was the one time in her busy week that she could fully relax and just breathe — that meant the world to me.

Running Bombchele Lashes has been an incredibly rewarding experience, not just as a business owner, but as a part of the Belterra and Dripping Springs community. I’m so grateful for the support I’ve received and the friendships I’ve formed along the way.
