Do you have career goals?  My career goal is to build a successful and meaningful career in business or communications where I can do what I love, support a happy and healthy family, and have the freedom to travel and experience the world.

What advice would you give a freshman?  As a senior, my advice to any freshman is to not be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. At the same time, stay true to yourself and surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you.

 

What is your fondest memory of living in Belterra?  One of my favorite memories of living in Belterra is growing up in our first house where I was lucky enough to have so many kids on my street. We were always outside riding bikes, playing tag, and hanging out until it got dark. It honestly felt like the perfect childhood. Then in middle school, we moved to the other side of Belterra, and that house became the place where I started to grow up. I became more independent, started figuring out who I was, and really started focusing on the things that were important to me.

What is your fondest memory of living in Belterra? Walking home everyday in elementary school because we would go through the tunnel to cross the street then up the hill to get to my neighborhood.

What are your extracurricular activities and sports? I played varsity soccer and varsity football in high school. I was the Kicker for football and a left-back for soccer.  I was also a member of the Young Men’s Service League.

What are your hobbies outside of school and school activities?  Outside of school, I like to hang out with friends, play pickleball, and go to the gym.

What are your plans after graduation?  After graduation, I hope to play Football as a Kicker in college and Study Business/Finance.

What advice would you give a freshman?  I would tell freshmen to get involved at their schools by joining clubs and other organizations!  Through this you can make friends with similar interests to you and help your community.

What is a personal quirk?  I’m constantly cracking my knuckles, it drives my mom crazy.

What is your fondest memory of living in Belterra?  I loved the experience of going to Rooster Springs for elementary school because it was such a

tight-knit community because almost everyone who attended lived in the neighborhood. Some of my favorite childhood memories are from the events Rooster would put on like fall festival, the talent show, and movie night.

What advice would you give a freshman?  Try everything. There’s no harm or loss in trying something and not liking it, but you will regret if you just stay where it’s comfortable.

What is a personal quirk?  Sometimes when listening to music, I start to tap on the beats or the rhythm.

What is your fondest memory of living in Belterra?  The people I have known all my life. I know that they will always be cheering me on in whatever I do in my future and I can always depend on them.

What is your fondest memory of living in Belterra? Before the house next door to me was built and was still an empty lot, me and my two friends would go and play in the lot rain or shine.

What advice would you give a freshman?  My advice to freshmen would be to not take anything for granted. When you first enter high school, you might only care for being “too cool” or “grown up” for certain school activities. But this is your last chance to be a kid before you go out into the real world, so use every opportunity to have fun and make memories.

 

What is a personal quirk?  A personal quirk I have is I spend too much money on fast food, especially Taco Bell.

 

What is your fondest memory of living in Belterra?  My fondest memory of living in Belterra was the 4th of July bicycle decorating contests. My neighbor friends, and I would spend so much time decorating our bikes with ribbons, streamers and felt as if it were a parade float. We were so proud of how they would turn out and we got to ride down the street with all the other kids and show them off to everyone.

What is your fondest memory of living in Belterra?  My fondest memory of living in Belterra is trick-or-treating during Halloween! All holidays are so much fun because it’s a great community.

What advice would you give a freshman?  While it’s important to have fun and enjoy your high school years, remember that your academic performance is crucial for future opportunities, including college.  Take your freshman year seriously. If you get mediocre grades as a freshman, it will be difficult to bring up your GPA later on. Also, don’t hesitate to ask for help from teachers and counselors if you are struggling with a subject or situation.  
 

What is a personal quirk?  I am obsessed with clean, healthy eating.   I read all food labels.

What is your fondest memory of living in Belterra?  Swimming on the Belterra Marlins swim team and going to the duck pond behind our house to feed the ducks as a young child.  Also, trick or treating every year with my friends in Belterra was so fun!.

Do you have career goals?  I aspire to work in the film industry. I’m not sure which position yet, but I plan to explore how my gifts fit into the industry.
 

What advice would you give a freshman?  My advice for a freshman who is worried about grades and keeping up is not to stress too much about school and how it will impact your life. These four years go by fast, and they don’t define your entire future, so take it easy. Get involved in clubs, activities, and sports—even if it’s just attending the games. Going out, making friends, and having fun is so important because if you’re always wishing you were somewhere else, you might miss something special right where you are. Classes may seem intimidating, but as long as you pay attention and submit your assignments on time, you’ll end up right where you want to be GPA-wise. For the freshmen who aren’t too worried about grades and want to focus on having fun, make sure to also think about your life after high school. Grades and studying are important if you're trying to get into college, so don’t forget about your academics. Finding a good balance between the two will help you have four amazing years. Again, all it takes is focus and time management to keep A’s and B’s on your report card.
 

What is a personal quirk?  I love Jesus and spreading His love and kindness wherever I go. This quality is reflected in my passion for photography and videography. I believe God uses everyone’s gifts and talents to glorify His kingdom, which is why I can’t wait to see what He does in my life as I major in Radio-Television-Film.

What is your fondest memory of living in Belterra?  My fondest memories are my walks with my dog on the trails and just driving through the neighborhood, admiring the beautiful scenery. Sometimes I forget how privileged I am to live here, but I’m reminded of when my cousin from the countryside visited and pointed out how blessed I am to live in such a pretty place with great amenities.
