Conservancy Gala Kick-Off

Supporters and patrons gathered for the Conservancy Gala Kick-off hosted by Sissy and Bill Wilson at their beautiful home in Belle Meade. Attendees mixed and mingled while getting the opportunity to bid on "auction teaser" packages and tasting lite bites by Kristen Winston Catering.

The 2022 Conservancy Gala "The Final Grand Finale... The Sky's The Limits," was held on Nov. 5. Since 2010, the gala has raised funds to support programs and events for The Parthenon and Centennial Park, two of Nashville's treasured icons.

Chairs Sandra Lipman and Laura Niewold, along with event planner Amos Gott gave the group a sneak peek of what to expect on Nov. 5.

Cause For Paws

On a gorgeous fall day, Belle Meade Country Club opened its patio for the annual Cause For Paws luncheon and fashion show benefiting the Nashville Humane Society.

Gus Mayer presented the spring collection by famed designer Tanya Taylor. Nashville jewelry designers Suzanne Crook and Carolyn Greenfield of Carden Avenue offered a pop-up shop displaying their newest designs.

The Julia Colton Award for Excellence in Animal Welfare was presented to NHA All Star Ryan Johansen of the Nashville Predators. In 2021, Johansen was inspired to create a series of "Hockey Dog Shirts" and was a featured celebrity fundraiser and walker at "Unleashed: Dinner with your Dog" event for the NHS.

Money raised at this year's luncheon and fashion show helps save more than 3,400 homeless, at-risk dogs and cats as they find their forever home.

Patron's Party for the Nashville Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition (NAHT)

Neighbors and supporters gathered for the Patron's Party and Silent Auction at the beautiful Belle Meade home of Cecile and C.J. Gideon. The evening, which included a cocktail dinner, also gave guests the opportunity to bid during a silent auction which even included a Ride-ALong with the Belle Meade Police Department.

This organization works closely with law enforcement, non-profits, educators and others to restore and rescue victims throughout Nashville and the state. Founder & Executive Director Mary Trapnell delivered a moving speech about the real battle to help save women and children against human trafficking.
