Her name, much like her spirit, carries a special story. A nod to the Kaminski family’s love of baseball—specifically their devotion to Baltimore Orioles legend Cal Ripken, Jr.—Callie proudly bears the full name “Callie Ripken Junior.” But her arrival meant even more than just a clever tribute.

Born just before the COVID-19 pandemic, Callie came home with the family in April 2020, at a time when the world felt uncertain and routines were turned upside down. With schools closed and the entire family—parents and three children—suddenly home together, they decided it was the perfect moment to welcome a new source of joy into their lives. And Callie delivered exactly that. From day one, she brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of togetherness during a difficult time.

The Kaminskis have called Belle Haven home for nearly 16 years, drawn to its unique charm and strong sense of community. Now in their second home in the neighborhood, they’ve spent the past 12 years enjoying everything that makes Belle Haven special—from its character-filled houses to its friendly, multigenerational neighbors.
