After its $74 million makeover, the Mount Vernon Rec Center continues to wow visitors. Have you enjoyed the facility yet or at least peeked inside? What are you waiting for? The 139,000-square-foot center boasts two NHL size ice rinks, an indoor track, an expansive fitness center, the Fairfax County Park Authority’s first ever indoor climbing wall, and a renovated natatorium. It's a beauty! 

Registration is open for summer camps at the center. Pick from a multitude of programs including Amazing Acts Circus Camp (ages 6-12yrs), Big Fish Fishing Camp (10-16yrs), Ninja Obstacles & Tumbling Camp (5 1/2-12yrs), and Stay Cool Ice Skating Camp (6-9yrs and 9-13yrs).
