Beck Landscaping

Brian Beck was inspired to start his own company when he realized that he could do the job better than the company he was working for or those who previously employed him. "I saw many inefficiencies -- owners taking a back seat, lack of drive, lack of caring, clients being ignored, or employees being mistreated." He's big into rewarding employees for good work and clients are always taken care of to a high standard. He's also involved in the day-to-day operations of the business.

Since 2013, Beck Landscaping has served the Houston, Clear Lake, and Galveston area, and they offer a variety of services, including but not limited to landscaping design, LED lighting, pavers and walkways, drainage and irrigation, decks, pergolas, water features, concrete work, and more.

"We're unique in the fact that we can design and execute very large contracts, but we still give that small, boutique-style, high level of service," explains Brian. When you're a client, you don't get passed around from one person to the next with no clear lines of communication. They always return calls and emails and strive to do their best to help however they can.

He's grateful for his customers and is fulfilled when he can deliver on that dream backyard. He says the ooohs, ahhhs, hugs, and smiles make all the hard work well worth the effort.

Brian grew up in Gordon, GA. He moved to Texas in 2010 and most of his family is still out of state. He has an elderly granddaddy who is almost 89 years old and is a huge inspiration in Brian's life. He calls frequently and refers to Brian as his "partner." Brian says it's their little joke, but he loves to hear all about the business's success, struggles, growth plans, and so on.

"Family means the world to me and I love them all dearly," says Brian. In addition to his Granddaddy, he's grateful for the support from his Granny, dad, mom, step-dad, sister, and the two cutest nephews around.

In his free time, Brian enjoys playing golf, especially when the weather is nice. He also likes finding local restaurants and trying new food, always trying to support fellow small businesses.

If you're considering a landscaping project, Brian says to do your due diligence when choosing a company. "We want to always be the first choice, but please choose whomever you are most comfortable with. We just hope that company is Beck and we can provide you with an exceptional experience!"
