EcoView Windows of Tampa Bay — Built on Grit, Gratitude, and a Customer-First Commitment

EcoView Windows of Tampa Bay is more than a window and door company — it's the result of decades of hard work, resilience, and a deep-rooted belief in serving others with integrity. At the helm are Frank Thrasher and Marco Scalise, two men from very different backgrounds who share a common goal: to raise the standard in the home improvement industry.

From Humble Beginnings to Business Ownership
Frank Thrasher was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. After spending four years in Jacksonville, he made Tampa Bay his home in December 2022 when he purchased the EcoView franchise here. Frank’s story is one of determination. “I came straight out of the trailer park,” he says candidly. “We may have been poor, but I had a great childhood. No one in my family had a long, sustaining career — I wanted to change that.”
Frank started in the window industry at the bottom, as an outside helper following the destruction of the hotel he managed by Hurricane Ivan in 2004. By 2005, he launched his first business and never looked back. He joined EcoView as an installer in 2014 and worked his way up to Installation Manager before eventually purchasing the Tampa Bay location.
His drive is matched only by the support of his wife Ashlyn, who homeschools their four children — Sawyer (13), Simon (11), Sailor (8), and Spurrier (5) — and keeps the family grounded. “She contributes in the best way possible,” Frank says. “Her relentless support is invaluable.”

From Corporate America to Customer Advocate
Marco Scalise brings a different perspective. A longtime resident of Tampa Bay, Marco grew up in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and spent 25 years in corporate America as an executive. Eventually, he sought something more personal — a way to take ownership of his work and bring real value to customers.
He saw an opportunity in the home improvement industry, which, as he observed, was “riddled with poor customer service.” His goal was to bring a “Customer First Attitude” to the business, and he’s thriving in that mission. “I’m really enjoying the relationships I’ve been able to build,” Marco shares. He’s also a proud husband and father and spends time volunteering in the children’s ministry at his church when he’s not at the gym or watching movies with his family.

What Sets EcoView Apart
Both Frank and Marco believe that EcoView’s strength lies in empathy, experience, and execution.
Frank puts it this way: “I’ve been at every level of this industry, and that helps me relate to our customers on a real level. We’re not just chasing the next contract — we’re working with people to improve their homes. Communication is key, and even when we make mistakes, we own them and make it right.”
Marco adds, “We’re a customer-centric business offering high-quality products, excellent installation, and an industry-leading warranty — all at the best prices. In this industry, that’s rare.”

Advice for Homeowners
Frank and Marco both encourage Tampa Bay residents — especially those in communities like Avila — to do their homework.
“Take your time,” says Frank. “Don’t rush into a project. Get multiple estimates, understand what you’re getting, and make sure it’s truly what you want.”
Marco agrees: “Have a vetting process. Don’t just check Google reviews — look at the Better Business Bureau, Qualified Remodeler, and other trusted sources. Know who you’re letting into your home.”
With EcoView Windows of Tampa Bay, you’re not just getting a product — you’re getting a team that values people, process, and purpose.
