Six-year-old Mug and five-year-old Millie are a bonded pair of adorable pugs who take their job of looking after their human family very seriously! Despite the year between them, the pug duo act as though they have known each other since birth, and they become very upset anytime they are separated. This is especially true for Millie, who is part ball of energy and part twinge of anxiety. Anytime Mug goes to the vet without her, she will sit and stare at the door, nervously awaiting his return. 

Mug's full name is Sir Mugsley Mugglehug, as the family believed he should have a regal title. However, that doesn't roll off the tongue very easily when yelling at him to stop terrorizing the garbage truck through the fence, so he goes by Mug the Pug, or simply Mug for short. The family admits they didn't put a lot of thought into choosing a name for Millie. Mug and Millie simply sounded cute together and seemed like a good fit! 

The pug pair are quite silly and clownish, but Mug is a bit more calm, independent and laid back, and he tries to behave himself most of the time. He does have a stubborn streak, though. He even pretends to be hard of hearing, but magically regains full use of his ears and comes flying from across the house the moment the treat bag is shaken. Millie doesn't like to do anything without her buddy Mug. She even prefers that he sit beside her while she eats. She has a funny little quirk: anytime she is startled, she has to chase her tail an even number of times, alternating left and right. And for as much as she loves Mug, Millie will tattle on him by whining and staring at her family until they notice he is chewing on something he isn't supposed to. 

They both love to play. Mug has two favorite toys: a stuffed dog he likes to fall asleep biting, like a baby blanket, and a long-legged stuffed frog he snuggles and plays tug-of-war with. Millie is most fond of a tiny tennis ball she can barely fit in her mouth. Mug and Millie also enjoy playing together, and one time Millie got so exhausted roughhousing with Mug that she fell asleep half in and half out of her bed like a melting puddle. The pugs are both major foodies and are obsessed with any and all treats, as well as any human food that hits the floor. They have even developed the ability to guess which human is most likely to drop food next and get as close to said human as possible. While Mug and Millie are very fond of food, treats and toys, ultimately their favorite thing to do is snuggle up with their family.
