Keeping Savannah Comfortable: Atlantic HVAC Built on Family, Service and Trust

For nearly a decade, Atlantic HVAC has been helping homeowners and businesses throughout the Savannah area stay comfortable year-round. Founded in 2016 by Josh and Leslie Belin, the family-owned company has built its reputation on honest communication, quality workmanship and a commitment to treating every customer like family.
Based in Pooler, Atlantic HVAC specializes in residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning services. As Trane Comfort Specialists, the company installs and services all makes and models of HVAC equipment, offering solutions tailored to each customer's needs and budget.
“Our goal is to make sure our clients understand all of their options,” says owner Josh Belin. “Whether they're purchasing a new system or servicing an existing one, we want them to have the information they need to make the best decision for their comfort and their home.”
That customer-first approach is what Josh believes sets Atlantic HVAC apart. The company focuses on educating customers rather than simply selling products, ensuring that every homeowner understands the choices available to them.
The business is supported by a dedicated team of office staff, field technicians and leadership who continually invest in professional development. Through ongoing training and education, Atlantic HVAC stays current with changing industry regulations, emerging technologies and best practices.
As the company looks toward the future, Atlantic HVAC hopes to continue growing its residential service base while expanding its commercial presence throughout the region. However, growth will never come at the expense of personalized service.
“Whether someone needs a small bathroom ventilation fan or a large commercial project involving dozens of HVAC units, we want every customer to know they matter,” Josh says. “It's important for us to stay grounded as we grow.”
For Josh, the business is deeply connected to the community he has always called home. Born and raised in Savannah, he and Leslie have spent their lives in the area. The couple recently celebrated nearly 23 years of marriage, raised three children and recently welcomed their second grandchild.
Before entering the HVAC industry, Josh worked aboard dredge boats, a career that required extensive travel. Looking for a profession that would allow him to spend more time with family, he joined a local HVAC company and quickly discovered a passion for the trade.
“The owner taught me not only the technical side of heating and air but also the business side,” Josh recalls. “He helped me understand what it takes to build a successful company.”
Over the years, Josh continued learning from respected industry leaders, many of whom remain mentors today. Drawing from their guidance and his own experiences, he developed Atlantic HVAC into the company it is today.
When he's not helping customers stay comfortable, Josh enjoys spending time on the water. An avid boater and saltwater fisherman, he loves being outdoors with family and has recently discovered a passion for home renovation projects and learning new skills around the house.
For residents of Savannah's historic neighborhoods, including Ardsley Park, Josh encourages homeowners to embrace both the character of older homes and the advantages of modern HVAC technology. While many older homes were exceptionally well built, updated airflow designs, duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning and indoor air quality improvements can significantly improve comfort and efficiency.
“As homes age, so do we,” Josh says. “Many homeowners are interested in options like UV air purification systems that help improve indoor air quality and reduce germs in the home.”
Best of all, Atlantic HVAC offers free estimates for new systems and many of its services, giving homeowners the opportunity to explore their options without obligation.
Above all, Josh says Atlantic HVAC's mission remains simple: serving the community that has supported his family for generations.
“We want to serve you,” he says. “If you give us the opportunity to provide a free quote for a new system, we believe you'll be glad you did.”
