The Carr Family

Veronica, Taylor, Blu, and Hobbes are always laughing.

Veronica Alejandra Carr Soto and Taylor Carr have lived in Adsley for two years, and truly embrace all that this community is about.

“I  make blueberry muffins for my nearby neighbors or anytime we get someone new on our street,” Veronica began. “I enjoy baking and miss the times of simple neighborly gestures.”

This couple’s commitment to connection and kinship makes them a vibrant part of Ardsley. Taylor is a runner and enjoys working out. He is currently the President of the APCCNA (Ardsley Park Chatham Crescent Neighborhood Association). When he is not busy updating the community, he likes to tackle projects around their home and playing the guitar.

“I am the treasurer for APCCNA and also a member of the Garden Club.I love getting to know new restaurants and supporting local businesses,” Veronica explained.

Blu (6 years) and Hobbes (7 months), the couple’s Golden Retriever are in constant competition to see which pup can be the most loving and energetic member of the family. Taylor and Veronica love to take their pups for long walks around town, and brunching at Ardsley Station

“While Blu is the supervisor for any projects Taylor has to tackle around the house, Hobbes is a digger and the destroyer of our backyard,” laughed Veronica.

Originally from Gainsville, Taylor works as Project Manager with Samet and is currently working on a multi family project in Hutchinson Island. Veronica is in Property Management and currently manages Olmsted apartment homes in downtown.

Blue and Hobbes are integral in all that this family does.

“We enjoy having dance parties with our pups anytime we have accomplished something worth celebrating or just in general,” Veronica shared. “We enjoy road trips to St. Augustine and never leave our dogs behind! We usually welcome in the year by the beach and take time to be thankful for what we accomplished the previous year and what is to come with the new one.”

There’s no doubt that these neighbors are an important part of Ardsley Park.
