If sunshine, paddleboards, rescue pups, and a love for all things Savannah sound like your vibe—you’re going to want to meet Sandra and Mark Mullis!

Sandra and her husband, Mark, have called Ardsley Park home for the past ten years. Originally from Fort Valley, Georgia, Sandra is a pediatric speech-language pathologist and the clinic coordinator for the RiteCare Center at Georgia Southern University’s Savannah campus. By day, she helps train grad students and provides free speech therapy services to local families. By night (or weekend), you’ll likely find her paddleboarding with her dogs or planning her next big outdoor adventure.

Mark, originally from Macon, sells industrial generators with Generac and moonlights as a bourbon aficionado. He’s a proud member of the Proof and Provision Bourbon Club and is always up for a round of golf. Sandra’s recently started lessons so she can join him on the course—though she’s quick to admit “athlete” may be a stretch!

Their household includes two water-loving rescue pups, Cooper and Addie, and their cat Winnie, who is very much in charge. From chasing sunsets on the water to sampling Savannah’s best eats, this crew knows how to live life to the fullest.

Sandra and Mark are big believers in creating memorable experiences. Each year, they check off a new National Park from their travel list, and they never miss the chance for a good local “staycation” to celebrate their anniversary and soak in their hometown magic.

They’re also active in the community—supporting animal rescue groups and wildlife rehab efforts. Sandra volunteers at the Savannah Wildlife Rescue Center and has a soft spot for raccoons!

When it comes to being a good neighbor, Sandra sums it up simply: “A wave, a smile, and a shared favorite food spot go a long way.”
