The Ardsely Park Chatham Crescent Garden Club has chosen Drew & Adria Wilkes for the yard of the month. I’m sure you’re familiar with this gorgeous yard if you’ve driven down Habersham recently. Their side yard has been in bloom with stunning roses in coral and pink. Adria tells us this is their most recent addition to the landscape and all of Ardsely Park has benefited! Along with the coral drift roses are Shishi Gashira Camellias, be sure to look for the blooms this winter. The homeowners have cleverly planned their plants, giving them blooms throughout the year. Adria’s favorite spot is the back deck, especially when the lavender lassie roses are in bloom and the fragrance is amazing. What a storybook moment, sitting out there in the spring watching the budding roses and baseball player. You can see they have added an artificial turf and practice target. When asked about gardening tips, Adria tells us that roses are easier than you think. They love our sun and just like to be deadheaded every few weeks. She clearly knows what she is talking about.
