Living Life with Full Esprit: Meet Life Coach Allison Parr Plasha of Vie Esprit

When Allison Parr Plasha felt a quiet nudge during a morning meditation—one that whispered “Savannah, Georgia”—she listened. At the time, she and her family were living in Erie, Pennsylvania, waiting for the right moment to make a move. That moment came when their daughter began 8th grade. One plane ticket and a few months later, the Plashas landed in Savannah and fell head over heels for the city’s charm, creativity, and culture.
Now, Allison brings her unique life coaching practice, Vie Esprit, to our community—offering residents a powerful opportunity to live more aligned, fulfilled lives.
With a background that includes a BA in Psychology, a Master’s in Social Work, post-graduate work at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland, and life coach certification through the Co-Active Training Institute, Allison offers more than credentials—she brings depth, empathy, and purpose to her work. Vie Esprit, her boutique coaching practice, supports individuals, couples, and small businesses ready to “redesign” their lives from the inside out.
“People often come to me feeling stuck, behind, or unsure about their next step,” she explains. “My role is to help them tap into the answers they already carry within, ask the right questions, and offer consistent, compassionate accountability.”
Clients begin with a two-hour discovery session, followed by weekly 50-minute coaching calls. Though the initial commitment is three months, many stay longer for continued support. Allison also encourages connection between sessions through text and email, making the relationship dynamic and accessible. “I offer the push, prod, and positive energy people need to grow,” she says.
But Vie Esprit is more than a job—it’s the result of a deeply personal journey. Allison began her career as a college psychotherapist at Penn State Behrend. Though it was a coveted position, burnout quickly crept in, and unhappiness followed. At the same time, she and her husband adopted their son from Guatemala. Fueled by a desire to pursue meaningful work and be fully present in her new role as a mother, Allison took a leap of faith—leaving her salaried job, dipping into her 401(k), and building her coaching practice from scratch.
“It was one of the best decisions of my life,” she reflects. “Coaching aligned perfectly with everything I’d studied—and everything I believe in.”
Today, after two decades of coaching clients around the world, Allison is excited to return to a hybrid model here in Savannah. In addition to welcoming clients into her “tiny adorable office,” she’s launching a podcast this summer with a longtime coaching colleague. The pair will also co-lead retreats this fall, including one at a nearby farm and retreat center.
Allison and her husband have fully embraced Savannah life. Their daughter now thrives at a local high school, and their son, a college student at John Carroll University in Cleveland, looks forward to school breaks that now feel like “endless vacation.” Her husband, a former yoga studio owner, now shares Savannah’s rich history as a tour guide—and occasionally leads a yoga class or two.
When not coaching or planning retreats, Allison finds joy in swimming at a local saltwater pool, walking along Tybee, attending yoga classes at New Yoga Now, and soaking in the city’s rich arts and culinary scenes. “The music and film festivals are my favorites,” she says. “Savannah has a vibrant energy. It blows my mind that anyone could ever be bored here.”
Whether you're navigating a major life change, feeling stuck, or simply curious about what’s next, Allison’s coaching offers more than direction—it offers connection, insight, and growth.
As she puts it, “This work is about living fully, not perfectly. It’s about honoring who you are, and who you’re becoming.”
