2026 and the Stories That Bring Us Together
From philanthropy and neighborhood traditions to standout young athletes and iconic homes, our first issue of the year reflects the many ways Ansley Park shines.
Happy New Year, Ansley Park!
As 2026 begins, I’m proud of how quickly Stroll Ansley Park has found its place within this remarkable neighborhood. What began as a hope has already grown into a true community platform—powered by your voices, your involvement, and your support.
This issue is a perfect example of that spirit. Our cover story features Audra Dial, Matt Ford, and their son Duncan, a family whose long connection to Ansley Park and commitment to philanthropy and community engagement reflect the values that define this neighborhood. You’ll also find a beautifully told Home of the Month feature from designer Tim Hobby showcasing an iconic Ansley Park residence; a memorable Young Athletes profile on rugby player Richard Wofford—who, to this Kiwi publisher, looks remarkably like a young John Kirwan, the legendary All Blacks winger I grew up watching; a charming Precious Pets highlight on the discerning Matisse; a look back at the Celebrate in Style gala at Tootsies benefitting Daughters Against Alzheimer’s; and a recap of our December mixer at El Azteca. January’s pages truly reflect the breadth of life in Ansley Park.
In the spirit of collaboration, and with the help of residents Michael Shoer and Pam Jameson, Stroll Ansley Park has made two donations—$1,000 to the Ansley Park Civic Association and $1,000 to the Ansley Park Beautification Foundation. These contributions are offered as an invitation to work together in the year ahead. My hope is that Stroll Ansley Park and the APCA can partner in ways that benefit residents, strengthen community messaging, and elevate the sense of community that defines Ansley Park.
A sincere thank-you to our advertising partners, whose support allows this magazine to reach every home each month. When their services are needed, I hope you’ll keep them in mind—they are essential partners in this effort.
As we look ahead to 2026, my goal remains simple: to continue telling your stories. If you know a family with a great story, a unique home, a standout young athlete, a beloved pet, or a philanthropy or cause led by an Ansley Park resident, I’d love to hear from you.
With immense gratitude,
Chris Barron
