Meet The Dial–Ford Family

A global-minded, service-driven family with deep Ansley Park roots

A Family Built on Curiosity, Travel & Community

For more than fifteen years, Audra Dial and Matt Ford have called Ansley Park home—a decision made when their son, Duncan (now a sophomore at The Lovett School), was just four months old. After realizing that loft living near Ponce City Market wasn’t ideal for a newborn, they found the perfect match in Ansley Park’s walkability, green space, and welcoming network of young families.

Audra is the General Counsel for Aston Martin The Americas, a role as dynamic as the brand itself. Matt serves as Practice Leader and Head of Claims for AXA XL, where his expertise draws on years of legal experience and a lifelong love of strategy and problem-solving. Both began their careers in private practice before moving into in-house leadership roles.

They met in Atlanta on a blind date—carefully orchestrated by mutual friends whose matchmaking instincts proved spot-on.

Duncan: Scholar, Athlete & Adventurer

Duncan is a dedicated student-athlete at Lovett and a passionate soccer player, competing for Lovett, Albion S.C., and select international teams. Before soccer took center stage, he earned a black belt in karate.

He and Audra also participate in the Young Men’s Service League (North Atlanta Chapter), volunteering with organizations such as Back the Blue, Open Hand Atlanta, and CURE Childhood Cancer. Duncan brings a sense of adventure to the family—no trip is complete without a ghost tour, and he loves exploring the history of every destination.

A Home Full of Culture, Tradition & a Little Magic

Though the Dial–Ford household has no pets, it does have fourteen very charismatic residents: the koi that glide through their backyard pond.

Matt, deeply connected to his Scottish heritage, once ran the Celtic theatre in Atlanta and is an active member of The Atlanta Burns Club. Each year he hosts a Burns Night supper, complete with kilts, poetry, and neighbors gathered around the table to honor Robert Burns.

If Audra weren’t practicing law, she would be a travel agent—something her family suspects she already is in spirit. She plans extraordinary journeys, from London, Scotland, and Spain to the Maldives, Cambodia, Alaska, Hawaii, and the Cayman Islands. Holidays are often celebrated abroad: Easter at the beach, Thanksgiving in Europe, or New Year’s in warm, tropical corners of the world.

Loving Their Walkable, Welcoming Neighborhood

The family’s favorite outings include trips to the Atlanta Botanical Garden, Piedmont Park, and Fernbank Museum—which is especially meaningful as Audra serves on Fernbank’s Board of Trustees. They frequent the Piedmont Park Green Market, enjoy movie nights at IPIC at Colony Square, and never miss a good October ghost tour at the Fox Theatre, Rhodes Hall, or Oakland Cemetery.

They’ve supported many neighborhood traditions over the years—Party in the Dell, Art in the Park, and the Ansley Park Tour of Homes among them.

For Audra and Matt, Ansley Park’s greatest gift is simple: everyday tranquility in the middle of a bustling city. Walking the BeltLine or wandering into Piedmont Park from their doorstep still feels like a privilege. Their favorite memory? Halloween nights on Inman Circle, where families filled the streets and the entire neighborhood gathered in one joyful swirl of costumes and connection.

A Heart for Service

Community leadership runs deep in the Dial–Ford family.

  • Audra has co-chaired some of Atlanta’s most celebrated philanthropic events, including the High Museum Wine Auction, Garden of Eden Ball, Meals on Wheels Meal to Remember, and the Pink Ribbons Luncheon. She is a past president of the Junior League of Atlanta and previously served on the SCAD Atlanta Advisory Council.

  • Matt served on the Board of Directors for The Children’s School, and together he and Audra co-chaired the capital campaign that raised $3.6 million for the school.
