Rescue Restoration

When your home is your biggest investment, even a small leak can feel like a major crisis. And when water, mold, or fire damage strikes, the difference between a stressful experience and a smooth recovery often comes down to one thing: who you trust to guide you through it.

That’s exactly where Ben Morris, founder of Rescue Restoration, comes in.

A lifelong Atlantan, Ben was born and raised in and around the city he now proudly serves. After earning a BA in Real Estate from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, he spent time living intown—Midtown before settling in  East Atlanta—building both his career and his deep understanding of the homes and neighborhoods that make this city special.

A “Lightbulb Moment” at 13

Ben’s entrepreneurial spark started early. At just 13 years old, his grandfather gave him a pressure washer—an unexpected gift that quickly turned into opportunity. Not long after, neighbors began paying him to pressure wash their driveways, and Ben realized he didn’t just enjoy the work… he loved the idea of building something of his own.

By the end of college, he had grown that passion into a thriving pressure washing company, developing a strong brand and building partnerships with apartment communities in Athens.

But Ben’s story didn’t stop there.

A Rare Perspective Across the Real Estate Spectrum

Over the years, Ben built experience across nearly every corner of the real estate world, including:

  • General contracting
  • Restoration, remediation, and property maintenance
  • Property management
  • Real estate brokerage and appraisal
  • Acquisition and SFR investing
That wide-angle experience gave him a unique lens into what homeowners and property managers truly need—especially when something goes wrong.

After the pandemic, Ben found himself reflecting not only on the business knowledge he’d gained, but also the difficult situations he’d witnessed: tenants living in unsafe, mold-contaminated environments, and homeowners relying on untrained help for serious water and mold damage.

That’s when the mission behind Rescue Restoration became clear.

A Company Built to Advocate for Homeowners

Ben founded Rescue Restoration to fill a gap he saw firsthand—bringing expert guidance, high-quality work, and genuine advocacy to homeowners and businesses navigating property damage.

Rescue Restoration specializes in:

  • Water Damage Mitigation
  • Mold Remediation
  • Fire Restoration
  • Crawl Space Repairs
  • Reconstruction
  • Vapor Barrier Installation
  • Crawl Space Encapsulation
Whether it’s emergency response or long-term prevention, Ben and his team focus on restoring not just the property—but the homeowner’s peace of mind.

What Sets Rescue Restoration Apart

Restoration can be overwhelming, especially when insurance, timelines, and unexpected damage are involved. Rescue Restoration stands out because they don’t just “do the job”—they walk alongside the homeowner through the entire process.

Ben’s team is known for:

  • Going above and beyond to advocate for, guide, and support homeowners throughout the restoration process

It’s no surprise Rescue Restoration has become a go-to resource for Atlanta homeowners—earning a 5-star Google rating with 48 reviews and counting.

Rooted in Atlanta and Committed to Community

Rescue Restoration is proud to be an active part of Atlanta’s local community. Ben and his team participate in events like the Kirkwood Wine Stroll and are members of:

  • Kirkwood Business Association
  • East Atlanta Business Association
  • Southern Shmooze
They also believe restoration services should be accessible—not just available. Rescue Restoration supports homeowners with limited incomes by working within budgets and, when possible, providing services at cost or even free of charge for those in need.

Growing with Purpose

Like many local businesses, building brand awareness hasn’t been easy. Ben shares that one of the biggest challenges has been learning where and how to invest in marketing and growth. But through refining their mission, values, and messaging, Rescue Restoration has strengthened what makes them different: they truly care about the work, the community, and the impact they make.

Looking Ahead

Ben’s vision is simple and powerful: continue supporting Atlanta homeowners and businesses with integrity and excellence. With increasingly erratic weather patterns and significant rainfall, Rescue Restoration is focused on educating homeowners and providing information on preventative services to help protect the overall health of the property—starting from the ground up. Strengthening business partnerships with service partners such as plumbers, realtors, brokerages, property managers, HVAC companies, roofers, flooring, and home builders is also on the horizon.

The team is also preparing for a major milestone: moving into a new office on Memorial Drive in Reynoldstown, with plans to be fully moved in this winter.

Ben’s Advice for Homeowners

Before you ever need restoration services, Ben encourages residents to take three proactive steps:

  1. Don’t ignore water damage. Be proactive. If you suspect there might be water damage from a leak or rainfall, let us come out and do a free mold prevention inspection. It can make all the difference to help you avoid costly secondary damages that insurance won’t pay for.
  2. Understand your insurance policy. Know what’s covered, what isn’t, and what you may be responsible for in the event of a loss.
  3. Don’t ignore your crawl space. Inspect it periodically—or call a professional. Catching issues early can prevent major (and costly) repairs down the road.
