Elliott and Ethan Ramey

Meet Elliott and Ethan Ramey! Elliott and Ethan have lived in Carmel with their parents Cody and Steve their entire lives. The Ramey family moved to the Village of WestClay in November of 2021.

Elliott is four, and Ethan just turned two years old in March. They love to explore the outdoors with their family.

“Nature walks are one of our favorite activities, searching for sticks, leaves, caterpillars and acorns,” they say.

Elliott is in preschool and enjoys seeing his friends in the Village.

“Many of Elliott’s preschool friends also live in the neighborhood,” Cody says. “We run into each other at restaurants and events, and they love seeing their friends ‘in the wild.’ We have made several friends in the Village. We love the activities and enjoy the sense of community with our neighbors.”

One of their favorite things about living in the Village are the seasonal events.

“Elliott and Ethan really enjoy dancing at the summer concerts,” Cody says. “Summer concerts and the winter festivals are some of our favorites.”

They are active and love to spend time outside whenever they can.

“We enjoy all of the parks and sidewalks,” Cody says. “You’ll see us out walking or biking any time the weather cooperates.”

Besides playing with their friends or hanging out outside, Elliott and Ethan play “ice cream truck” at home and “drive" the racecars at the grocery store.

When they aren’t at the Village’s many parks, concerts or festivals, you can find Elliott and Ethan eating at Sahm’s Place, drinking smoothies at Zing, enjoying slushies at Basket Pizzazz or having ice cream with sprinkles from Greek’s.

Elliott and Ethan’s favorite family vacation was their first trip to Siesta Beach in Florida last summer.

“We flew on an airplane, and we loved building sandcastles, playing in the waves and snacking on the beach,” they say.

If they had $100 to spend on their neighbors, they would love to plant a community garden in the Village.

“We liked planting our tomatoes, green peppers and basil this year,” they say. “The bunnies got our cucumbers!”

Be sure to say hi if you see Elliott and Ethan out and about!
