Golf Facility to be Renamed and Dedicated as Muirfield Pitch & Putt

Hosting 1st Annual Putting Contest for Muirfield Youth

On Wednesday, May 28th, Muirfield residents will be looking forward to Round 1 of the Memorial Tournament (taking place on Thursday, May 29th). But before the first tee shot, the Muirfield Association will host two events, highlighting Muirfield’s connection to golf and showcasing possible future PGA and LPGA golfers.

Wednesday, May 28th at 5:00 PM
A brief ceremony will dedicate the newly redesigned and newly named golf facility. The facility, formerly known as “Smuirfield,” located at the corner of Glick Road and Muirfield Drive, will be dedicated as “Muirfield Pitch and Putt.”  This event is open to the public and press. Several dignitaries and a special guest, a PGA TOUR Professional, will be on hand to cut the ribbon.

Non-resident attendees will have to use street parking on any of the following nearby streets and use the Muirfield paths to reach the facility. (Turin Court Hill North, Springburn Drive, Saltcoats Court, Whitecraigs Court & MacIntyre Drive)  Be mindful of Tournament no parking signs.

Wednesday, May 28th estimated time: 6:00 PM
Shortly after the dedication, Muirfield residents age 18 and younger will be able to show off their putting skills in the 1st annual Muirfield Putting challenge held on the new greens of the Muirfield Pitch & Putt.  Contest participants must register in advance through the following website: https://msac.fillout.com/t/djcMtbyy4Bus or scan the QR Code.

Attendees and participants of both events are encouraged to wear yellow to raise awareness of PlayYellow -- a program of the Children’s Miracle Network of Hospitals including Nationwide Children’s Hospital of Columbus. (Kids – be creative in wearing yellow)
