Owner Shane Parker started Auburn Suds in 2017 with his first client, Graham Transportation. He was working for Graham at the time, and their vans were too big to go through a traditional car wash. He solved their problem by offering to come on his own time and wash the vans for a fee. The operation was humble in the beginning – just a water tank in a trailer that he pulled behind his truck and then later a generator so he could offer interior cleaning as well. In the past five years, however, Shane has grown the business into the thriving company that it is today with many hard-working employees and its own fleet of vans equipped with a variety of specialized equipment. “Customer service is very important to us,” says Shane. “We do everything to make each job as perfect as we possibly can.”

 

Shane has lived in the Auburn/Opelika area his entire life, so he is very connected to our community. He has two teenage children, and all three of them love going to the lake every weekend, where they really enjoy skiing and boating. They also like traveling, especially to the beach, and worshipping together at Church of the Highlands.
