COOK YOUR OWN PANCAKES AT DE LEON SPRINGS

There is nothing in the world like getting the family together,
heading to a state park, and making pancakes to get your day
started. If that sounds amazing, then De Leon Springs is the park,
and the Old Spanish Sugar Mill Restaurant is the restaurant. Every
table has its own griddle, and the servers bring you homemade
pancake batter so you can make them right there with your family.
You can also add berries, chocolate chips, and other ingredients to
customize your pancakes.

After you’ve stuffed your stomach, walk the park. Records
show that Native Americans lived around the Springs at least 6,000 years ago. In the 1800s, it became a winter resort because
people up north were told that the Springs were actually a fountain
of youth. Visit the Springs to take in this fascinating history lesson.
