Hi! Meet Daisy.  She’s a lovable 13-year-old mixed breed dog rescued from the floods in North Carolina, caused by Hurricane Nicole, in 2010. She was shipped up to Pennsylvania, where I adopted her in early 2011. Daisy and I moved around together for several years before finding ourselves in Florida and Lake Forest, where we reside today.

Daisy is a sweet dog that gets along well with almost every other dog she meets. She is full of personality, and her facial expressions are priceless! She has an easy-going temperament and loves people and being pet, but as she’s getting on in years, she sometimes seems to prefer napping in her bed near the front window of our home.

Although Daisy is an indoor dog, she loves to sit outside with me on our sidewalk pavers and watch the cars and foot traffic pass by. If we’re lucky, an unsuspecting squirrel will pass by and she’ll have a chance to chase it up a tree. When you’re her age, it’s the little things that make you happy.
