At Frederic’s Fine Jewelers, we are extremely lucky to be able to surround ourselves with such spectacular beauty every day. From diamond engagement rings to luxury designer brands, our cases are constantly changing with new product lines every week.
But it is the people involved that really bring in the sunshine every day. Being a local and personal jeweler to so many families in the area while having the extensive inventory of a larger operation allows us to satisfy all jewelry purchases in a trusting relationship.
Our greatest moments are seeing a newly engaged couple showing off their shiny new ring or when someone comes back in to show us their new birthday or anniversary gift. Their joy becomes ours. Or when the self-purchaser puts something on, and you instantly know that it is perfect!
Frederic’s Fine Jewelers has been at 233 Bellevue Ave. in Upper Montclair since the beginning of 2019, but the story doesn’t start there. The staff has been in this same location since 1985, and with a new ownership change, Frederic’s was born. Karen, Tony, Jeannie, and KC are always in the store to greet you when you walk in and have continued with their traditions and values for a seamless transition into our new venture.
We have dramatically increased our engagement and bridal inventory to include diamonds of all shapes and sizes and a vast array of ring designs. Most importantly, all our engagement rings are manufactured by us, right here in the United States, making it possible to use ethically sourced materials and labor throughout the manufacturing process.
One of our favorite ways to make an engagement ring is to custom design it with our clients. Using 3D CAD/CAM technology, we can easily tailor the design to fit anybody’s vision of their perfect ring. Because we do this with our parent group, IBN Diamond Corp., we are able to offer this service at essentially no additional cost to our in-stock product lines. Getting it perfect is always the right solution and we can usually turn around a finished custom ring in just a couple of weeks.
Frederic’s is also known for its many exciting designer lines. We feature Paul Morelli, Gurhan, Pasquale Bruni, Picchiotti, Lika Behar, Ray Griffiths, Temple St. Clair, and numerous other luxury brands. Our website inventory will only list real inventory that is actually in the store. So, if you see it online, please stop by to see it in person and get a true vision of how it looks and feels before purchasing.
We are proud to announce that we will adding Messika Paris to our designer list. Since its origins, Maison Messika has succeeded in combining the timelessness of diamond with a modern touch —diamond jewelry in a contemporary style to be worn every day. Their vast array of inspirational designs and impeccable quality of manufacturing made them a perfect fit for our store.
Coming this fall, we will continue with our expansion and add another top-name designer in Marco Bicego. They create jewelry that embodies the luxury of Italian craftmanship and contemporary design. Every piece of Marco Bicego jewelry is handcrafted in their Tressino headquarters in the Veneto region of Northern Italy. Tressino is in the province of Vicenza, which is known as Italy’s capital of gold. We greatly look forward to this introduction.
There is a quote that says, “Good things happen to those that shop local." While we hope this is true as it is essential to our continued success, it is also the responsibility of all local businesses to give back to their communities as well. In this regard, we actively and enthusiastically support all community organizations emphasizing education, health, and the arts, including Montclair Kimberley Academy, Montclair High School, and the Montclair Museum. We are so fortunate to have strong neighboring community support and we actively support those communities as well, including the West Essex School district.
